Age Limits by Race Type

• Sprint & Super Races:
  • Open Racers: 14 and up
  • Competitive Racers: 16 and up
• Beast Races:
  • Open Racers: 16 and up
  • Competitive Racers: 18 and up
• Ultra Races & Endurance Events (Hurricane Heats, Agoge, etc.):
  • Open Racers: 18 and up
  • Competitive Racers: 18 and up
• Trail races:
  • 10K: 16 and up
  • 21K: 18 and up
  • 50K: 18 and up

General Information

• Minimum Age for Adult Races: All participants in adult races must meet the minimum age requirement on race day. No exceptions will be made for underage racers.
• Maximum Age: The maximum age to compete in the continental U.S. is 99.
• Enforcement:
  • Any racer found with an underage participant on the course will be removed immediately and will not receive a refund.
  • Falsifying registration information to bypass age restrictions will result in a "Did Not Finish" (DNF) status, and no refund will be issued.
